In short: no account, no cookie, no advertising. Your score is calculated in your browser. Your answers are only stored, with nothing that could identify you, if you agree.
Publisher and data controller
Left or Right? (Gauche ou Droite ?) is an independent educational project published by Ousmane Diop (Nooreyni), Belgium. It has no link with any political party and receives no partisan funding.

Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States. The statistics database is stored in the European Union (Cloudflare D1 EU jurisdiction).

Your score, your result card and the challenge link are created in your browser. The challenge link only contains your rounded position, the test format and, if you choose, your first name: we don't store it.
What stays in your browser
No cookies. The site only keeps your choice about sharing your answers (browser local storage), so as not to ask you again. You can delete it by clearing the site's data in your browser.
Retention period
Counters and shared answers are kept for 5 years at most, then deleted automatically.
Recipients and transfers
Data is never sold, rented or passed on to third parties. Only the publisher has access to the statistics. Cloudflare acts as a technical processor; the company is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and the statistics database stays in the European Union.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object to its processing and to withdraw your consent at any time ("change" button on the test page). Write to contact@gauche-droite.com.
One limit, which comes from the protection itself: because your answers are stored without a name, IP or identifier, it is impossible to find out which ones are yours. So once sent, they can't be viewed or deleted individually. That's why we ask for your consent first.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be.
Content
The site's questions, arguments and texts are written to present each side at its best, without favouring any. The test result is an educational reference point, not a diagnosis: it doesn't tell you who to vote for. The calculation methods and sources are published on the Methodology page. In case of difference between the French and English versions, the French version prevails.
